 Petra Luhrsen @petraluhrsen I am a Teacher Consultant for the Area 3 Writing Project (A3WP). I possess an Administrative Services Credential and support first and second year teachers as a Support Provider for BTSA (Beginning Teacher Support and Assessment).This is my 10th year as a classroom teacher and I spend my days with 26 first graders at Star Academy, located just north of Sacramento. Before joining Star Academy, I worked with students at Oak Ridge Elementary, one of five schools identified as "priority schools" by Sacramento City Unified School District. In 2010, I attended the Area 3 Writing Project (A3WP) Summer Institute. I currently serve as a Teacher Consultant (TC) for A3WP. As part of an A3WP TC, I facilitate an Inquiry Group consisting of teachers teaching grades 1st-8th grade.

Jennifer Kloczko is a first-year elementary principal at Natomas Charter School in Sacramento who has spent the last 16 years teaching and learning with amazing students and teachers in Northern California. She is also an Area 3 Writing Project Teacher Consultant and leads K-12 professional development in literacy, technology and the Common Core. She is a  CUE Rockstar  presenter and presented recently at the 2013 Fall CUE conference and Annual CUE conference in Palm Springs. She is passionate about technology and the power it has to connect us– to other classrooms, to authors, and to the world. After ten year of being a teacher leader,  I jumped into the role of Administrator and became a Homeschool mom!  I continue to integrate technology and education by teaching a blended online Drawing class for the NCS Virtual Learning Academy,leading technology professional development for my teachers, blogging about the homeschool experience, producing a new, weekly homeschool news broadcast for our school, and integrating technology into my own living room lessons!
