Google Maps - Resources & Ideas
Google's web-based mapping software. Google Maps provides directions, routes, and views of the world. The application also provides Street View, the ability in certain locations to fly in to a street-level view of the world. Through the use of a Google account users can create custom maps with placemarks and lines individually or as part of a larger group.
Resources to Get You Started
Google Earth is a software application that runs on computers and provides the ability for users to fly into different locations throughout the world. Google Earth also includes numerous built in layers with photos, 3D buildings, historical maps, and many other types of data. Similar to Google Maps, users can create custom Google Earth maps.
