Diane Main  @dowbiggin

Diane Main serves as the Director of Learning Innovation & Design (Upper School) at The Harker School in San Jose, California. She is also adjunct faculty for San Diego State University's Learning Design and Technology department and MERIT/KCI faculty at Krause Center for Innovation and Foothill College in Los Altos Hills, California. Other EdTech activities include presenting at conferences nationwide, serving as a Lead Learner for CUEtoYou and as president for the board of SVCUE, and presenting at Rock Star Summer Tech Camp, Macworld, and other events. Passionate about improving the school experience for both learners and educators, Diane seeks to guide you to exploring and discovering your own abilities to enhance the experience where you work. Diane lives with her husband and son in San Jose, California.


 Jennifer Kloczko  @jkloczko

Jennifer Kloczko is a first-year elementary principal at Natomas Charter School in Sacramento who has spent the last 16 years teaching and learning with amazing students and teachers in Northern California. She is also an Area 3 Writing Project Teacher Consultant and leads K-12 professional development in literacy , technology, and the Common Core. She had the honor of presenting at CUE Rockstar Tahoe this past summer and most recently at 2013 Fall CUE. She is passionate about technology and the power it has to connect us– to other classrooms, to authors, and to the world.  Megan Ellis  

Megan is a seventh-grade English teacher, AVID coordinator, webmaster, and technology mentor in Palo Alto, CA using technology to rock her kids' (and colleagues') worlds. She develops and implements school- and district-level professional development on technology integration and Google tools and can be seen presenting a number of edtech conferences all along the west coast. Megan is a Google Certified Teacher, a MERIT alumni and faculty member, Leading Edge Certified, a CUE Lead Learner, and CUE's 2013 Outstanding Emerging Teacher. She got her BA in English, teaching credential, and Master’s degree in Education from the University of California at Davis. When she's not teaching, Megan is scouring YouTube for great educational content, turning her classroom expectations into memes, accumulating hashtag titles (#GoogleNinja), and drinking way too much coffee.


 Melissa Hero  @mdhero

Melissa Hero is a High School Biology and AVID teacher in Belmont, CA. She has been teaching since 2000, and has been flipping her classes and using a class set of iPads for two years. Melissa is a Google Certified Teacher (#GTASWE 2013) and a Smart Exemplary Educator (2008). She has even been filmed using her SMARTBoard for SMARTBoard Tutorial Videos and Forbes.com. In 2009, Melissa was a California League of High Schools Educator of the Year Nominee and has won other awards for her teaching. Melissa loves to share what she learns and does in her classes with other educators. She has participated in the Exploratorium’s Teacher Institute since 2002 and now mentors new science teachers as part of the Exploratorium Teacher Institute’s Leadership Program. Melissa presents at her school and district professional development days and at conferences about ed tech and science topics.


 Julie Willcott  @willcottjulie

Julie Willcott is a STEM educator from the State of Maine. She teaches chemistry and physics as well as forensics and greenhouse management in an independent school. For three years, she has been teaching with 1:1 iPads. Two years ago, she placed her curriculum on iTunesU. Her Chemistry course now has well over 100,000 subscribers. She is now placing more and more content into interactive books.


 Ryan O'Donnell  @creativeedtech

 Ryan O'Donnell is a high school social studies and technology teacher at Rocklin High School in Rocklin CA. He has been teaching since 1997 and has been an advocate for all things "tech" since he first began teaching. His teaching assignment currently has him teaching AP World History, Advanced Geography, Digital Storytelling and Web Design. Along with teaching, Ryan has been presenting at technology and social studies strategies workshops in his district and throughout the country as a trainer for Teacher Created Materials. Ryan has just joined the board of CapCUE and enjoys his family time with wife and two daughters as well vegetable gardening and being a Star Wars superfan. 
 


 Sean O'Neil  @Seanjay Sean is Educational Technology Coordinator for Butte County Office of Education. A Google Education Trainer & Certified Teacher, he presents around the country on gamification, mobile apps, and texting tools for teachers. With a MA in Theatre Directing and 17 years in the classroom, he’s become an expert in communication in this digital age. Last year he was chosen as THE Journal’s Innovator of the Month for May 2013 and is the creator of ShakespeareCast.com.

 Lisa Nowakowski  @NowaTechie

Lisa is a Google Certified Teacher & Trainer, and has presented at CUE RockStar events in California. She was in the first cohort for Innovative Educators Advanced Studies Certificate and a Leading Edge educator. In 2010 Lisa was awarded the Crystal Apple Award sponsored by the local NBC affiliate. She has been an Ed Tech innovator in her district for over 15 years. Lisa currently teaches 5th grade at King City Arts Magnet. As a district technology leader, she has brought 1:1 Chromebooks to her classroom with great success. As a 3rd grade teacher, she incorporated GAFE into her classroom. Students created Documents, Presentations, Forms, and Websites. It is her belief that students of all ages can take advantage of all that Google has to offer.


 Will Kimbley  @willkimbley Will Kimbley is the instructional technology consultant for Tulare County Office of Education in California. A former elementary and middle school teacher who is actively involved in instructional technology professional development on a variety of fronts. He is a Google Certified Teacher, Microsoft Innovative Educator, YouTube Star Teacher, and a member of the TICAL Leadership Cadre. A CUE Lead Learner, founding faculty and coordinator of CUE Rock Star Summer Tech Camps, he regularly presents at conferences such as CUE, CUE affiliate conferences, ISTE, NSTA, and MACUL.

 Brian Briggs  @bribriggs Brian is currently the Director of Innovation and Instructional Technology for the Plumas Lake Elementary School District. Before being a Director, he was a EdTech Coordinator and prior to that, an educator for 12 years. His passion has always been integrating technology in classroom and collaborating with other. With his educational background, he tries to make learning engaging, entertaining and fun.

 Joe Wood   Joe Wood is a Google Certified Teacher, CUE Lead Learner, and former middle school science teacher.  He is the Instructional Technology Coordinator for Natomas Charter School, a K-12 school in Sacramento, California. Joe works with the National Writing Project and Area 3 Writing Project at UC Davis as a teacher consultant and staff developer. His areas of interest are content-area literacy, multimedia text, and the links between digital writing and the Common Core State Standards. His work has appeared on NWP’s Digital Is, THE Journal, as well as on his own blog. Joe presents at local and national conferences and is the treasurer of CapCUE.
