Join us for three days of hands-on learning and collaborative conversations in the beautiful California Central Valley.
Tulare County is a beautiful agricultural county in California's Central San Joaquin Valley. The county is just off Highway 99 between Fresno and Bakersfield. Since CUE Rock Star Tulare County, or as we have lovingly dubbed it, Rural Rock Star, takes place Wednesday through Friday you might consider adding a few days of family vacation on either end of the event. Tulare County is home to many scenic wonders, such as Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks, that offer year-round recreational activities. During the summer Tulare County provides numerous outdoor recreational opportunities including mountain biking, hiking, fishing, and rafting - not to mention great dining options in downtown Visalia where the event headquarters hotel will be.
CUE Rock Star Tulare
All CUE Rock Star are purposely designed, focused, small group everts that have three items in common:
All three days consist of two, two-hour sessions allowing attendees to "dig in deep" and really get to know their topic and build resources to use next year. Morning sessions are repeated in the afternoon so that attendees have two different opportunities to attend a workshop.
CUE Rock Star events are built so that there is one presenter for every ten attendees and the events sell out at 60-70 attendees. This allows participants to get hands-on support and learn directly from knowledgeable educators.
We purposely start late, end early, and take extended lunches so that all attendees have ample opportunities to collaborate and network as part of learning community.
