 Kristen Berg @mrsqueenberg Kristen Berg is an edtech enthusiast.  Five years ago, she discovered how technology could ignite her innovative talents as an instructor. She is a 2011 M.E.R.I.T. graduate and 2012 Google Certified Teacher. She has taught kindergarten through middle school and is currently a K-12 instructional technology coach for the San Ramon Unified Valley School District.


 Tim Haston@HastonMathTim Haston has been a classroom teacher for  9 years.  He  had a 1:1 laptop room for two years, extensive time using Interwrite tablet/softare, Smart tablet/software and one year with a 1:1 iPad room. Currently,  Tim Haston is writing his masters  thesis about Social Media in Technology.   Tim has a passion for creating videos, using social media, or finding new and exciting ways to create student learning and buy in from our digital native students.  Tim Haston is currently the Instructional Technology Coach at Earlimart Elementary School District.  

 Will Kimbley@willkimbleyWill Kimbley is the instructional technology consultant for Tulare County Office of Education in California. A former elementary and middle school teacher who is actively involved in instructional technology professional development on a variety of fronts. He is a Google Certified Teacher, Microsoft Innovative Educator, YouTube Star Teacher, and a member of the TICAL Leadership Cadre. A CUE Lead Learner, founding faculty and coordinator of CUE Rock Star Summer Tech Camps, he regularly presents at conferences such as CUE, CUE affiliate conferences, ISTE, NSTA, and MACUL.

 John Miller @room162John is a middle school teacher in King City, CA. He currently teaches grade seven medieval history and holds both multiple and single subject credentials in history and science. He is a Google Certified Teacher, SLOCUE Board member, instructional designer, and CUE Rock Star faculty member. John holds a Masters degree in Educational Technology from San Diego State University and enjoys exploring edtec with his students. His interests include e-learning, MinecraftEdu and gaming in the classroom, student blogging, and most things Google.

 Lisa Nowakowski@NowaTechieLisa is a Google Certified Teacher & Trainer, and has presented at CUE RockStar events in California. She was in the first cohort for Innovative Educators Advanced Studies Certificate and a Leading Edge educator. In 2010 Lisa was awarded the Crystal Apple Award sponsored by the local NBC affiliate. She has been an Ed Tech innovator in her district for over 15 years. Lisa currently teaches 5th grade at King City Arts Magnet. As a district technology leader, she has brought 1:1 Chromebooks to her classroom with great success. As a 3rd grade teacher, she incorporated GAFE into her classroom. Students created Documents, Presentations, Forms, and Websites. It is her belief that students of all ages can take advantage of all that Google has to offer.

Writer, blogger, teacher of students: Sam has taught in independent Jewish schools for the last 11 years in the subject of English, writing, darkroom photography, algebra, algebra 2, and pre-calc and he currently teaches K-5 technology.  Sam is a innovator on campus and he uses his blog to reach out to his campus environment and to reach beyond into the community of connected educators.  There are many things that edtech can do, Sam looks at the pedagogical opportunities and helps teachers find the best tool for the job.
Jen Roberts
@jenroberts1Jen Roberts is a high school English teacher, a Google Certified teacher and co-author of the upcoming book, Power Up Teaching: Foundations of 1:1 Classrooms. She was the San Diego Innovative Educator for 2013 and is the Digital Lead Teacher at her school site. WIth over six years experience teaching 1:1 and using Google tools, Jen is ready to help you power up your teaching - ROCKSTAR style.

Matthew Schwartz is an Exploring Technology Instructor at Scandinavian Middle School, Fresno, California. Prior to his current assignment he was a Business and Technology teacher for 8 years at Laton High School, Laton, California. Mr. Schwartz became a Google Certified Teacher in the Summer of 2011 (GTAWA) and a Google Apps for Education Certified Trainer in the Fall of 2011. He is an IT Essentials Cisco Certified Instructor and has received an Online-Teacher Leading Edge Certification. Mr. Schwartz regularly presents at regional CUE Affiliate Tech Events, as well as the Annual and Fall Cue Conferences, and he was a member of the CUE Rock Star faculty in Solana Beach last Summer.


 Susan Stewart @TechCoachSusanA self-proclaimed Super Nerd, Susan Stewart has spent the last 15 years teaching K-2 students. In 2013-2014, this innovative teacher successfully moved to 100% paperless homework in her second grade class and also integrated Google Apps for Education with her 7-8 year olds. Other aspects of her class went paper-light as well, including behavior management and parent communication.  Throughout her career, Susan has served as a site-level and district technology lead, and was recently named to the position of Fowler Unified Instructional Technology Coach.  She regularly leads small and large group PD sessions within and outside of Fowler Unified. Susan holds a MA in Educational Technology from Pepperdine University.
 Adina Sullivan@adinasullivan Adina is happy to be back again to present at another CUE Rockstar Teacher Camp! She's an Educational Technology Coordinator for San Marcos Unified School District, Adjunct Faculty - California State University at San Marcos, and Teacher - Leading Edge Certification for Online/Blended Learning. She continues to be a learner with a Master’s Degree in Teaching and Learning (K12 Technology Integration Specialization), Online Teaching, Leading Edge Certifications (Online Blending Learning and Professional Developer), Apple Academy (May 2011) and more. Adina also serves as an SDCUE Board Member, CUE Communications Committee Chair, and Presenter for SDCUE, CUE, ISTE and the National League of Middle/High Schools.
