Tally Burkhart* Tally Burkhart is a Google Certified Teacher who has taught English language arts at the middle and high school levels for fifteen years.  She has been involved in CUE for over ten years, serving on the Orange County and Inland Area Boards.  Her current position is an English Language Arts Coordinator with a charter school support organization that has 30 schools in 5 states.  Tally began as an Orange County Department of Education Technology Trainer of Trainers in 2002.  She has been working with teachers and tech ever since, presenting at local CUE conferences, and volunteering, planning and participating at local Discovery Educator events.
She completed her Doctorate in Education with Specialization in Curriculum and Instruction in 2007.  While a Literacy Coach in the Inland Area for five years, she became a Verizon Thinkfinity trainer and received her GATE and AP Certifications through University California Riverside. She was also a participant in the SBCSS Teaching American History Program where she earned a Historical Literacy Coach Certification, and was honored by receiving a Gilder Lehrman Fellowship for  American History to study at Oxford in 2010.  Tally recently became a member of CA Accomplished Teachers.
Alice Chen Alice is an English Language Arts teacher and Technology Coach. She is a Google Certified Teacher, a Microsoft Partners in Learning US Finalist, a Microsoft Innovative Educator Trainer, a #PlaydateLA organizer, and the 2011-2012 Teacher of the Year at her school. Having previously taught high school, she has also been a two-time recipient of UCSD's Outstanding High School Teacher Award and Sylvan Learning Center's Kid Choice Award.
Over the course of her career, she has also been a Mentor Teacher and professional development trainer, regularly presenting at her school, district, and local conferences such as those hosted by OCCUE, Walnut Valley BTSA Consortium, and California Association of Bilingual Education.  Her other upcoming presentations this year include the CA GAFE Summit and eLearning Strategies Symposium.

Joe Donahue Joe is a Google Certified Teacher, Google Apps Certified Trainer and a Leading Edge Certified Professional Developer. He teaches middle school Math and Robotics, and he administers the Google Apps for Education program at Santa Ynez School in Santa Ynez, CA which is about 30 miles north of Santa Barbara. He has been teaching for over 10 years and has more than 20 years of business administration experience.
Joe has presented workshops and seminars for Google, at numerous conferences and schools throughout the country. He received his BA in Biology from UCSB and an MBA and MS in Physiology from UNLV.

JR Ginex-Orinion JR is a high school Chemistry teacher from Huntington Beach, California. He has two wonderful daughters, a loving wife, and two happy Labradors. He is lucky enough to be doing what he is passionate about. 
JR is a Google Certified Teacher and Google Apps for Education Certified Trainer. He has presented countless times at his district, school site, and local consortiums on the best practices of Google Apps in the classroom. As a CUE Lead Learner, he has hosted workshops and sessions at annual CUE, CUE affiliate events, presented at ISTE this past June. JR’s YouTube Channel has been selected to be part of YouTube EDU for its educational value to the online community. He started a program at his school site called the Google Geniuses, which is a group of students who help other students and teachers use Google Apps for Education. They help facilitate trainings on and off campus in groups settings and 1:2 sessions. 
JR has also worked with ShowMe and its developers to produce a virtual whiteboard app for iOS. He is a ShowMe Master Teacher and trains people on the effective use of video in synchronous and asynchronous environments. 
Additionally, he is a co-creator of #caedchat, a twitter conversation just for California educators. He hosts and moderates the twitter chat on Sunday evenings. JR is a board member of OCCUE and blogs about his teaching experiences at edtechwithgo.com. He has a degree in Analytical Chemistry from Loyola Marymount University and a Masters of Science in Educational and Instructional Technology from National University. Lisa Nowakowski Lisa is Google Certified Teacher & Trainer who has received the "Crystal Apple Award" (a local award) for teaching in 2010. She has been teaching for 17 years, ranging from 1st through 5th grades. For the past 4 years, She has been the Site Tech Lead at her school and a tech leader in her district for over 10 years. As Site Tech Lead, she helped roll out a class set of iPads in 2011 and Chromebooks 2012. She provides weekly Tech PD for her staff to help bring 21st Century learning to all her students. Chris Scott Chris, father of 3 boys, is a full-time history teacher who has introduced and developed several technology programs within his district. His student-lead Geek Squad built and maintains the technology resources within his district including the K-1 Open Source computer lab. Chris proposed and has successfully implemented a 1:1 netbook program that uses Open Source software, making a cost-effective and easily manageable program. Besides being a History and Technology teacher, he’s currently the President of Santa Barbara CUE, a Google Teacher AcademyUK 2012 grad, CK-12 Champion and recent survivor of the CUE/MACUL RoadTrip (#CUEMACULhnybdgr).
