Building upon the success CUE Rock Star Minarets and CUE Rock Star Central Coast, this year the first-ever CUE Rock Star Express Paso Robles will be taking place April 26-27, 2013 in Paso Robles, CA.  Join us for an exciting experience of hands-on learning and collaborative conversations on the beautiful Central Coast at the Estrella Warbirds Museum.  

Paso Robles is a beautiful Central Coast town just north of San Luis Obispo and Morro Bay.  The town is at the crossing of Hwy 101 and Hwy 46 and is located halfway between Los Angeles and San Francisco. Since CUE Rock Star Express Paso Robles takes place Friday night and Saturday morning you might consider bringing the family for a few days of vacation on either end of the event.  The Central Coast provides numerous outdoor recreational opportunities - not to mention great shopping and dining options.

Conference Format

All CUE Rock Star Express events are purposely designed, focused, small group everts that have three items in common:
  • Hands-On Learning
Two-hour sessions allowing attendees to "dig in deep" and really get to know their topic and build resources to use next year. 
  • Small Presenter to Attendee Ratios
CUE Rock Star events are built so that there is one presenter for every ten attendees and the events sell out at 50 attendees.  This allows participants to get hands-on support and learn directly from knowledgeable educators.
  • Time for Collaboration and Networking
We purposely start late, end early so that all attendees have amble opportunities to collaborate and network as part of learning community.  

Friday Night, April 26th

5:30 pm - 8:00 pm

Refreshments, appetizers, and inspiring keynotes by Google Certified Teachers and Apple Distinguished Educators.

Saturday Morning, April 27th

9:00 am - 12 Noon

9:00-9:15 - Shred Sessions - Meet all the session presenters first thing in the morning and see what they are presenting
9:30-11:30 - Hands-on Sessions - Select from six, two-hour, hands-on sessions - make it and take it!
11:30-12:00 - Google Demo Slams - Enjoy 30 minutes of Demo Slams with Google Certified Teachers sharing awesome tricks and tips!
