Building upon the success CUE Rock Star Minarets and CUE Rock Star Central Coast, this year the first-ever CUE Rock Star Solana Beach will be taking place July 24-26, 2013 in Solana Beach, CA. Join us for three days of hands-on learning and collaborative conversations in beautiful, sunny Southern California. Solana Beach is a beautiful beachside town just north of San Diego. The town is just off I-5 close to Legoland, Sea World, and many beautiful beaches. Since CUE Rock Star Solana Beach takes place Wednesday through Friday you might consider adding a few days of family vacation on either end of the event. During the summer Solana Beach provides numerous outdoor recreational opportunities including mountain biking, hiking, fishing, and kayaking - not to mention great dining options. All three days consist of two, two-hour sessions allowing attendees to "dig in deep" and really get to know their topic and build resources to use next year. Morning sessions are repeated in the afternoon so that attendees have two different opportunities to attend a workshop.
CUE Rock Star events are built so that there is one presenter for every ten attendees and the events sell out at 60-70 attendees. This allows participants to get hands-on support and learn directly from knowledgeable educators.
We purposely start late, end early, and take extended lunches so that all attendees have amble opportunities to collaborate and network as part of learning community.
